UC process support

Integrated support of the entire UC process
Vehicle identification

In the interest of consistent data and to avoid potentially costly errors, all vehicles to be dealt with can be identified and described unequivocally with the help of a guided process or, optionally, via a VIN look-up function.
Digital Technical Appraisal

The UC.Pilot provides support for the assessment of the optical and technical condition of a vehicle intended for purchase in two ways:

A) the creation of a pre-configured evaluation form, which is added as a scan of the vehicle file after processing, or alternatively

B) the direct recording of all damages and condition descriptions in the system by an innovative app, executable on tablet or smartphone. All calculated costs are automatically taken over for the subsequent pre-calculation of the purchase price.

Market price assessment

To determine the correct market price, the UC.Pilot provides different options.
In addition to using own experience, the recommendations of well-established service providers such as Eurotax or DAT can be displayed.

In principle, market information can also be integrated by providers who win their data on the basis of Internet portal comparisons.

Top-down pre-calculation

UC.Pilot offers the posibility to perform the commercially correct calculation of the UC purchase price based on individually pre-configured parameters.

This allows to adapt the determination of the purchasing pice to different purchasing strategies  or to reflect the different cost structure of different dealerships or outlets.

Wholesale management

Vehicles which are not intended for own retail sales, can be  offered to pre-selected resellers via app, email or messengers. Their bids are automatically received in the system so that they could, e.g. also be used as a basis for the purchase price calculation.

Alternatively, cars can be send to auction or be published on specialized wholesale platforms.

Workorder management

To increase efficiency and avoid double input, the UC.Pilot features an integrated workorder management. Standard tasks, e.g. for vehicle preparation or PDI as well as the most common "auxiliary jobs" such as vehicle washing, battery charging, change of presentation space, etc. can be quickly and easily selected via check boxes.
Placement of the order to the respective internal or external service providers takes place directly from the system. The confirmation of order acceptance  as well as their completion is managed via the desktop or the UC.Pilot app.

The status of any order is tracked at any time and any missed deadlines are immediately signaled in the workflow management board.

Dynamic pricing management

One of the most critical subjects in UC management is the definition and consistent implementation of an optimized pricing strategy, ensuring fast stock turnover and  highest possible margin exploitation.

UC.Pilot supports different approaches to achieving this from changing the sticker prices from individually configurable  pre-set intervals to the implementation of 3rd party market survey and price comparison providers.
Price change intervals are regularly  monitored and, optionally compared to the relevant market environment.

Price changes in the system are automatically uploaded to web portals and, optionally updated with electronic price tags.

Offer and sales contract

Offers for the sale of vehicles can be made quickly, even taking into account potential trade-ins, based on the data already collected in the UC.Pilot.

An overview function allows to see at a glance how many offers were created by which sales consultant for a vehicle.

The creation of a sales contract is done conveniently on the basis of an existing offer.

Workflow support wizards

Wizard menus guide users with clear indications on what to do at each step of the process.

Next to ensuring stable processes and consitent data capture this fosters  a quick familiarization of all users with the system and the ideal process.

Usually needed training efforts are significantly reduced - a particularly important aspect in cases of staff rotation.

Task planner

A centralized scheduler function allows to schedule regular maintenance task, like battery charging or vehicle cleaning.
Additionally, test drives, technical appraisal or re-appraisal appointment, presentations or customer appointments can be planned.

This helps to avoid scheduling conflicts and increases  customer satisfaction and overall efficiency.

Individual task notifications

Automatically generated task notifications inform process participants about jobs that need their  attention, so no tasks are to “fall through the cracks”.

The task notifications (or alerts in case of escalations) are provided in various formats to accomodate different users needs or preferences (desktop notification, via  smartphone app or as email).
